Wordy Wednesday

Jake was getting Spencer out of the tub last night.

Jake: Come on Spencer here's your lion towel. Get out and be a lion.

Spencer: I don't want to be a lion. I wanna be a frog! (whiny voice)

Jake: Well we don't have the frog tonight so you'll have to use the lion one.

Spencer started whining more.

Me: Spencer you don't get to be the frog tonight. You know sometimes I'd like to be a princess, but obviously I'm not a princess!

Several minutes pass by. Spencer comes over to me with his lion towel still on his head...

Spencer: "Mama tomorrow after we go to the dentist can we go to a store and get you a princess towel?"

Bless his heart he knows how to make me smile!
