Goodbye to Friends

Saying Goodbye...
Late in November we said Goodbye to our friends The Copes (Jeff, Rachel, Brandon and Mollie). They are moved to CA right before we move to AL. We will miss them lots. We all became friends in Chester, VA when Brandon and Spencer were just 8 months old!! It has been so fun that we were able to connect again here in CO. We love you like family and wish you all the best in CA. We'll miss you Copes!
When I join the Mom's group here I had no idea I would luck out with such a great group of mom's and kids. They are such an easy going fun group. Our kids love each other too. We will miss our weekly fun play time and chat time!!
One of the greatest treasures we found in CO is The Smith family. They lived next door and we all become fast friends. I don't know what we would have done without them some days. LOVE these guys so much. Bonnie and Mason even came by to see us the day we were starting our drive across the country to Alabama. I hope we are back in CO to see you sooner than later.

Changes

December 2010 equals one wild month for our family. With a huge possibility of getting layed off from his job, Jake took a job with another company. He had been with Bovis for 10 years and saying goodbye wasn't easy. The new job is with a company in Birmingham, Alabama. Much closer to both or our families. The new adventure is exciting. Saying goodbye to our home, to CO and our friends here is hard!
December was a month filled with lots of organizing to get prepared for our move, saying our goodbyes, having Christmas, driving across the country, more Christmas and moving to AL. Shewww. Tiring for sure!!!

Watching the big fish
The line was so long to see Santa that by the time it was our turn Campbell was over it, as you can see. He screamed and when I went to get him he realized he had forgotten to tell Santa what he wanted. So as I carried him away he was stretching his arms to Santa yelling "Lighting McQueen, Lighting McQueen, I want a Lightening McQueen."
It was like a movie sceen!
Racing cars at Bass Pro. They had lots of kid things to do.
Here the boys are getting things done on our December to do list...

Thanksgiving 2010

Thanksgiving morning Jake AND Spencer ran in a Turkey Trot race.

He was a little unsure at the start of his race.

But, once Daddy said he would start with him he was fine. And he ran and ran and was very proud of himself! We were proud of him too!

Aunt Katie and Campbell watching for Spencer to finish!

Our annual Seyb Thanksgiving photo! Campbell looks over it! :)
We were very thankful to have family here to help during my recovery and to help celebrate the holiday.

I has been a hard half of a year, but I am so thankful to have this good looking crew to hug on and to hug on me.
This is likely our last Thanksgiving in Denver and boy will we miss it here!!

Grace

Grace

Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you..
Jeremiah 1:5

Grace
our 4th little baby
suppose to be filling my arms on July 4th 2010
instead skipping this life and going straight to Paradise

I ache
I wonder
I cry

I want my baby Grace

I long more for Heaven
and dream of that reunion with the two babies I did not get to hold

I am still confident of this:
I will see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living.
Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the LORD.
Psalm 27: 13-14

SNOW

November finally brought SNOW!
To say these two were excited would be an understatement.
No big snow would be complete without a quick run to Target to buy snow boots. Thankfully they had a pair left for Spen and Campbell graduated to Spencer's old blue boots. Campbell kept asking, "but what about my pink ones!" I was sad to see him out grow them too. Those pink boots on my wild boy (who was so proud of them) made me giggle.
Spen making sure the sidewalks were clear of ice.

My Snowmen and I had fun!

Halloween Fun

Meet my Pit Crew for Halloween 2010
I very much wanted to come up with unique costumes for them. But, they saw these in the stores and wanted them so bad. I couldn't say no. And man it was SO much easier!

Campbell Man sporting the blue

And Spencer head of Team Lighting McQueen Racing. For some reason the kid on the costume package was posing somewhat like this so Spencer thought this had to be the PIT CREW stance. Probably the farthest thing from it but I loved it.

Halloween party with friends

Halloween Night with the Copes. Campbell was so funny. He made sure to yell "trick or treat" and then he would start digging though the people's candy bowl picking up candy saying "nope", "nope", "nope", then he'd find a piece that was acceptiable and say "tank you!"

Wordy Wednesday

S P E N C E R

I got annoyed with myself after I spilled my coke in Jake's car.

Spencer: "Oh Mama, that's okay! Daddy's Car is suppose to be dirty."

Jake was wearing a shirt that had some diagonal stitching on it. To his defence it is a nice shirt!

Spencer: "Daddy I like your shirt you won at a sewing contest."

His comment came so out of the blue I got hysterical and couldn't stop laughing and Jake's jaw hit the floor. I think he got his feelings hurt just a little!

Campbell: "Mama, I'm gonna kiss you."
