Meet my Pit Crew for Halloween 2010
I very much wanted to come up with unique costumes for them. But, they saw these in the stores and wanted them so bad. I couldn't say no. And man it was SO much easier!

And Spencer head of Team Lighting McQueen Racing. For some reason the kid on the costume package was posing somewhat like this so Spencer thought this had to be the PIT CREW stance. Probably the farthest thing from it but I loved it.

Halloween Night with the Copes. Campbell was so funny. He made sure to yell "trick or treat" and then he would start digging though the people's candy bowl picking up candy saying "nope", "nope", "nope", then he'd find a piece that was acceptiable and say "tank you!"

I got annoyed with myself after I spilled my coke in Jake's car.

Spencer: "Oh Mama, that's okay! Daddy's Car is suppose to be dirty."

Jake was wearing a shirt that had some diagonal stitching on it. To his defence it is a nice shirt!

Spencer: "Daddy I like your shirt you won at a sewing contest."

His comment came so out of the blue I got hysterical and couldn't stop laughing and Jake's jaw hit the floor. I think he got his feelings hurt just a little!

We had an action packed day with friends.

Keeping up with these two, who always were running opposite directions, was a challenge.

We went hay riding, cow feeding, pumpkin picking...

... cart riding,

and bucket train riding.

My attempt to keep them awake on the ride home with suckers failed!

It was a fun and exhausting day!

A Fun Fall Afternoon At Nick's Garden

It was a very sunny day which made it great for being outside but tough for picture taking!

The train ride was a hit, especially with Campbell. It went through a small tunnel and supposedly was a tiny bit scary. When they came out of the tunnel Campbell was laughing and Spencer had a very worried look on his face. He told me later that there was a witch in the tunnel that had hot breath (aka steam) getting on him!

The boys love this song.

I started singing it to them when the were growing in my belly.

When Spencer was a few hours old I sang this song and he turned his head quickly toward me. (spencer loves hearing that story!)

I love that they know every word.

Flashback

Flashback to a year ago. October 2009.
We flew to Nashville and spent the weekend with my family celebrating my parent's 60th Birthday!!! Our cousin let us stay in their gorgeous cabin. It was great to be away from everything except each other.

We enjoyed a nice lunch at the Hermitage Hotel in downtown Nashville.

Siblings. I miss them!!


That evening we had a party at the Cabin.

Spencer was helpful getting thing ready for the party and was beyond happy celebrating!!

It's crazy looking at pictures of Campbell a year ago. The child's hair has grown!!!
