Oma's June visit continued...

More pictures from our Adventures with Oma!

We had so much fun going to the Plains Conservation Center. It was beautiful!

They have a preschool program twice a week where the kids get to learn about different animals that live on the land there. Here Oma and the boys are learning about the Pronghorn's fur and horns.

Spen checking out a prairie dog.
Playing in the Tee Pee.

We even went on a wagon ride around the Conservation Center to look for Pronghorns, the animal they were learning about that day.

The class listening to the lesson. I was SHOCKED that Campbell sat down and stayed in the circle!

We all had such a fun time!

A Saturday visit to The Denver Museum of Science and Nature.
DINOS!

We saw lots of different animals.
It was a great way to spend a rainy day. I think of all of us Campbell had the most fun. He strutted around the museum talking (loud) and so excited. He was like our little tour guide.

Oma and the boys had an adventure at home one night and Jake and I got a date night!! We had a yummy dinner at Sullivan's and then went to Falling Rock Tap house. Yes, I played PacMan. I couldn't resist myself. I was still darn good at it too!! It was fun to get to go into Denver with Jake and a thrill to come home to sleeping babies!! Thank you Oma!

Grandma Mary - Colorado Springs

We ventured to Colorado Springs to visit with Grandma Mary, Jake's grandmother.
She was in town for a family reunion. It was so nice for the boys to finally get to meet her and her them. She gave the boys both a gift. Campbell calls the bear she gave him, "grandma bear."

We have had a busy June. We were excited to have Oma come visit! The boys were thrilled to have another playmate and a fresh new audience. While Oma was here we went one many adventures and had some adventures right here at home.

Fun times at home.....

Fun at Belleview Park.....

Patiently (not really, don't let the picture fool you) waiting on their turn to ride the train.

The boys loved the train rideS!

We met our friends Rachel, Brandon and Mollie to have a picnic and play.

They had fun eating Popsicles, while at the same time changing their white shirts to red. I swear we should be on a oxyclean commercial for that clean up.

Fun bird watching....

Woo Hoo Look Who's TWO!

May 29th 2010
CAMPBELL TURNS TWO!!!

It's my birthday! It's my birthday!

Campbell is in LOVE with buses. So, for his birthday bash we hired the FUN BUS to entertain the masses and help celebrate my little man's day. He had a blast.

We had a few set backs the morning of the party....

We lost several balloons due to wind as well as one flower pot. Thankfully no children blew away in the 40+ mile an hour winds that day.

Jake called from the cake store and said there was NO cake!! What?! The cake people had the wrong date. Thankfully they fixed the problem and had the cake ready in 20 minutes.

And in grand CAMPBELL FASHION he fell off our front steps and landed on his head! Why is it always his head! Thankfully after a squeeze and a kiss he was fine and off to play.
We had a great time celebrating! We love our Crazy Cuddly fireCracker Campbell!!

Mothers Day

Mother's Day in the airport!
That's how I love to spend my mother's day!

HA!

But, I love my mother and grandmother enough to endure a hard day in the airport with my two toddlers. It was well worth it.

The boys with their great grand mother, Mama Janet, and their grandmother, Bevie.

Honestly my little men did a GREAT job! Besides one small breakdown from Campbell because he wanted to push the stroller, one dart and run (yes, campbell) and one episode of having to physically form Campbell's body back into the stroller/carseat, we happily made it. I didn't even get the horrible i know everyone is watching, pitting me and thinking i can't control my kids feeling. That happened on the way home!

A true mothers day gift to me from the boys...

A happy content Spencer and a zonked out Campbell! Thank you boys!

The plane ended up NOT being full (a miracle) which meant both boys got a seat! Spencer was willing to sit across the isle from me. And proved yet again that he is a great traveler. This trip bringing the total number of his flights to 67!

Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful mothers in my life!!

More from our MS trip to come.

Wordy Wednesday

Spencer: "Mama Mama that girl smiled at me."
"I think she LOVES who I am!"

Before our last plane ride I told Campbell I would go get him a little something to eat before we got on the plane. He very much enjoyed the sugary cereal I got him.

Campbell: "More SOMETHING pleeeeease!"
Me: "Campbell it's called cinnamon toast crunch."
Campbell: "ummhumm. More SOMETHING pleeease!"

Spencer: Mama don't take that food away from Campbell or he will CRY HIS HEAD OFF!"

Campbell enjoying his "something"
