Here are a few pics post blizzard.

Jake loves snow. First thing he did when he got home from work...shovel snow. Spencer was right there with him. I think the two of them would sleep in the snow if they could.

Saturday we went sledding. It was so much fun!!
Campbell even got in on the action.
Spencer below doing his usual...making someone else do all the work!!

Jake and Kat. That poor sled took a beating.

Jake had to be exhausted. He and Spencer went down uddles of times and that meant lots of trips back up the steep hill. Jake had to carry Spen back up the last few times.
I sit here typing as the weather forcast is in the background....more snow storms to come. Wooohooo!

Opa getting snuggles from the boys before bed. I think Opa is secretly addicted to Bob the Builder after his visit. Aren't you Opa!!!

Here is Peter Rabbit. Bevie made him out of a wine bottle!!! Each day at nap time she would do a little more to him. Spencer loved watching him become a rabbit. His face was precious when he woke up to see him complete. He often talks to Peter and tells him that he IS in fact being a good boy. He wants to be sure the Easter bunny is going to bring him a prize!
More art with Bevie. Spencer is big into cutting with is new scissors.
Their nightly walk around the neighborhood.
Bevie and Spen(18 months)
Campbell chatting with Spen
Of course WE were not going to ride the snow machines, but they had a very nice cabin and we played (i kept Campbell from falling down stairs and Spencer from breaking everything and going through the guys overnight bags) . We had hoped to play outside in the snow. BUT, as we pulled up to the cabin a WOLF ran right by us and the cabin. A WOLF!! Okay really it was a coyote, but Spencer and I like to say it was a wolf. Jake kept telling Spencer, "No it's a Coyote." Spencer refused to believe him and thinks he convinced Jake that "it IS a WOLF Daddy!!!" I think my drama King knows that saying we saw a WOLF really does make for a better story. After seeing that wolf-coyote (really to me it didn't matter i didn't want to come in contact with either) I decided the kids and I would NOT be playing outside. So I scooped bowls full of snow and dumped them on the deck for Spencer to play with. It really worked out for the best for me and Campbell who really wouldn't have wanted to play in the frigid cold for very long.

It was a gorgeous cabin and a beautiful day. Jake was sore from playing and I was exhausted from keeping up with my kids in someone elses house. Huh! My favorite part was the drive. Yes the scenery was beautiful, but it was so nice to be able to have hours of chatting time with Jake without kids interrupting. The duct tape was a great idea!! Just kidding!! Thankfully they snoozed the entire way home.
