Pumpkin Crazy!

Spencer is CRAZY over pumpkins. We went to Chesterfield Berry Farms this past Saturday and he was hysterical. We took a hayride to the pumpkin field and he ran through the pumpkin patch. They have much more you can do than just pick pumpkins, but with a 13 month old we kept it short! :)
Spencer's first comment when he saw the enormous amount of pumpkins in the fields, "A MESS!" It cracked me up! He thinks anything on the floor is a mess. I guess I'm always telling him how messy his room is. I had the hardest time getting a good picture of him because he wouldn't stop. He had to hug, kiss or try to pick up every pumpkin he could. Jake and I were afraid we would be there forever as Spencer went from pumpkin to pumpkin kissing, etc! Thank goodness for the tractor pulling the hay, which got his attention on something else so we were able to leave! We did pick out a pumpkin and now have our TRIO of pumpkins out side. And believe me we can't go anywhere without going out to say hello and give them a kiss.

I do believe he is the sweetest, cutest nephew in the whole world.

Don't forget there are other definitions of the word "mess." I can fix up a mess of sausage, soldiers can go to the "mess" hall. "mess" can mean just a "lot of something." Maybe Spencer just means there's a "mess of pumpkins." I think it's sweet that he wants to hug and kiss everything.
